10 minutes, 2 downloads, 1 USB Flash Drive. Test PuppyLinux using a MS Windows computer.
How Can I test drive a Linux or BSD Distribution, starting from MS Windows and a USB Flash Drive?
Take 10 minutes, 2 downloads, 1 USB Flash Drive to create a bootable USB flash drive with PuppyLinux Operating System from any version of MS Windows; Vista, XP, 7, 8
- First Download try with Slacko 6.3.2 Puppy Linux .ISO file 200 Megabyte download. Here is the download URL Link http://slacko.eezy.xyz/download.php 32 bit or 64 bit your choice!
- Second Download , Rufus.exe the 1.5 Megabytge USB Writer program for MS Windows http://rufus.akeo.ie
- Optional USB Writer program Etcher, 70 Megabytes download for MS Windows, MAC OS, Linux. URL Link http://etcher.io Burn images to SD cards & USB drives, safe & easy.
- Use Rufus.exe or Etcher.io to write / burn the .ISO file to a USB Flash Drive.

Computing Ideas for India: Remix OS, PBXinaFlash, AndEX for x86
Hello all my Indian friends,
I read these articles about Remix OS from Jide.com, that I share with you. I believe that the Remix Mini hardware connected to a HDMI flat screen, with keyboard, mouse, and internet connection will be helpful to introduce "TNB" the next billion users to the internet via Android operating system.
With MultiTasking available in Remix OS, you can have many programs running at the same time. Just like I am using many internet browser tabs to collect these URLs to share with you.
I also believe that with a Graphical User Interface, those people that can not read, will be able to click on an image and play videos that show todays weather report or talk about farm economy topics. You might have to create the Android application to perform this task. This same GUI could also play MP3 podcast files that were created to share with other illiterate people that are able to listen to local Indian dialect.
The nerdvittles links below, show how to create a PBX with a raspberryPI, that could be called from a mobile telephone or a Voice over IP SIP phone and play messages to inform farmers about weather or market prices for farm produce.
I believe 2016 will have interesting computing changes inside India. You be part of the creative change to help others, use computers to better their lives. I share these ideas, hoping that you comment below on what works for your neighborhood in India. I realize that what seems simple to me living here in Oregon, might be hard to achieve in your neighborhood.

A good article that points out the hardware prices of computing power is coming down to $80 - $30
I believe that this Remix OS on hardware from http://www.Jide.com might be the next thing coming to India.
Look for Andex x86 Android booting from a USB Flash Drive to test out on your x86 PC.

I have thirty plus years with electronics and computers. My present linux distribution that I enjoy is PuppyLinux. Slacko version 6.3.0. Http://slacko.eezy.xyz. Or 64 bit version Slacko from http://puppex.exton.net with updated kernel. This is a live linux version that can be booted up from and used from either a USB flash drive 512 megabyte or larger or a CD R disk. So if I had no computer available, I would start with a USB flash drive with puppylinux installed. Then I could use a cafe computer or a community computer and keep my files secure with me on my usb flash drive. This is low cost way to begin using computers.
What is your opinion, Kumar. What do you envision creating in your district in India to teach people, or students linux? You can read more from my blog site. Http://puppylinux-or-pcbsd.blogspot.com. You are welcome to add comments at the blog site or email me back.
You describe to me the situation and conditions that exist in your district for teaching linux.
I will help you by sharing what I know. Give the usb flash drive a test run and tell me the results. Make a USB flash drive with puppylinux for someone else to use and report back their experience, please.
ps. here is an open source Android x86 custom
